Who We Are
Nomads Content Studio is a fast-moving content team.
We work with clients who expect speed, quality, and precision.
Our Core Values:
Urgency – If something needs to be handled, it gets handled.
Ownership – No excuses. We fix problems.
Excellence – Good is not enough. We improve every week.
If those words don’t excite you, this role isn’t for you.
APPLICATION BELOW
The role:
We’re looking exclusively for an American Short-Form Writer (Content Operator) & Speaker to join our team.
What You'll Become Here
- You'll learn how high-performing short-form content is actually made at scale
- You'll develop instincts for hooks, pacing, and retention most writers never build
- You'll work directly with real client accounts, not hypothetical projects
- You'll evolve from a writer to a content strategist
You will be responsible for:
- Getting videos ready for our editor to edit using software called Descript
- Writing captions for social media for our clients
- Cleaning up video transcripts
- Reviewing our client's videos for any errors before client delivery
- Tracking content performance and improving future output
-Writing title cards for our client's videos
- Staying on top of platform trends (IG, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, FB)
- Daily communication with clients and team via Slack
How We Operate
This is a high-output environment. You will touch a high volume of content weekly.
- We move fast.
- We over-communicate. We meet deadlines. Always.
- We fix mistakes immediately.
- We apply feedback fast
- We improve week over week.
- If a client sends a last-minute request, we handle it.
- If something goes wrong, we don’t blame the editor, the client, or unclear instructions. We take ownership and fix it.
You Must:
- Write fluently in American English (C1+ level minimum)
- Understand what makes a strong hook and how to create curiosity
- Have experience with short-form content (IG, TikTok, YouTube)
- Understand pacing, comedic timing, and educational value
- Be highly responsive on Slack (messages acknowledged within 30–60 minutes during working hours unless communicated otherwise)
- Be able to take direct feedback and improve quickly
- Be available full-time by the end of month 1
- Be comfortable handling client needs - including occasional weekend requests
What Excellence Looks Like Here:
- No grammar mistakes
- No sloppy formatting
- No filler words left in transcripts
- Hooks improve over time
- Feedback is applied immediately
- You review your own work before submitting it
- You don’t submit work and hope it’s good. You review it. Tighten it. Improve it. Then send it.
This Role Is NOT For You If:
- You need to be told what to do 24/7
- You need reminders to respond on Slack
- You get overwhelmed by fast turnarounds
- You dislike direct feedback
- You don't take initiative
- You prefer a slow-paced creative environment
- You make excuses when something goes wrong
We only keep high performers.
Hours & Structure
- Month 1: ~15 hours per week
- Month 2 onward: Full-time (~40 hours/week)
- 3 meetings per week (Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday)
- You must be able to transition to full-time within one month
- Each writer handles up to 3 clients (4 with overtime).
Compensation
- We pay $1,000 - $2,400/month
- Writers start with 2-3 clients and scale to 4+ based on performance
- Top writers increase both client load and per-client rate
- This is a performance-based role with clear upside
Benefits
- Paid upskilling
- Performance-based growth
- Remote work
- No fixed schedule (deadlines and communication standards must be met)
Communication Expectations
- We use Slack.
- Over-communication is encouraged.
- Speed matters.
- If you’re unavailable, communicate it proactively.

Good luck.
